Meet Monami Ohno. The art school grad excels at making highly detailed models and sculptures out of cardboard, whether that's 1/1 scale cardboard guns, anime robots or model tanks.
Ohno's work has not gone unnoticed in Japan. She's appeared on the evening news, in magazines, and on websites. She also holds workshops to teach her sculpture skills to those eager to make cardboard creations of their own.
"Art isn't something you buy," Ohno told News Zero. "It's something you make on your own." Which is a rather cool approach to not only art, but the meaning of creation itself.
