The first Crackdown had one of the best demos of all time. So it stands to reason that its sequel will also let players get their hands on it prior to the full game's release.
"You can definitely expect a demo to hit Live before the game is out but I can't say when that will be... yet", producer James Cope told IGN. "The Crackdown demo was fantastic and we want to carry on in that form."
Fantastic is an understatement. You'd be hard-pressed finding a demo that did more to win over the public than Crackdown's. All those orbs, and super powers...for a lot of people it turned Crackdown from what had looked like an "eh" kind of game into a "here's my money" kind of game.
