Your First Look At Call Of Duty: Black Ops

As promised, we got our first look at Treyarch's latest Call of Duty game tonight, and as expected, the game will take us on a tour of some of the Cold War's hottest locations.

Well, that's the gist we caught from the flashes in this brief clip, at any rate. You'll partake in the "birth of special forces" via some action in jungles and snow, some helicopter flying, something onboard an SR-71 Blackbird spy craft (hence the "astronaut" pictured above) and some exploding villages, all featuring decidedly 20th-century weaponry.

Most intriguing, though, were hints at some present-day content as well, a clock in the hospital/lab that features throughout clearly showing a 2010 date.

Once you're done watching the vid below, you can check out some highlights and screengrabs here to see what the hell just happened.

Lots of people making final decisions on a game based on a trailer where you can barely see shit.

Interesting logic, that.
