A man from Washtenaw County, Michigan, has been charged with attempting to accost children for immoral purposes after meeting a number of young girls over Xbox Live and, among other things, sending them condoms.
Robert Lynch, who is 20, is accused of forging online relationships with "several" girls from Saline Middle School in January of this year, and making "sexual suggestions" towards them.
While he never had any sexual contact with the girls, aged between 11-14, he is alleged to have driven two to a strip club (which they did not enter) and later buying them sex toys. He also sent some of the girls condoms through the mail.
The games Lynch and the girls were playing have not been revealed, though it has been specifically stated that he met and communicated with the girls via an "an Xbox Live device".
If found guilty, Lynch faces up to four years in prison.
