In a follow up to last week's Street Fighter X Tekken video is a new martial artist's live-action take on the fighting game characters.
This time we see Tekken's Jun up against Street Fighter's Vega. I was hoping for more of Vega's, um, enthusiasm in the video, but it's still well suited to the drama the team was aiming for. Jun, on the other hand, retains her lithe fighting style fairly accurately. Mike Diva created and directed this fight against franchises, with musical support from his brother.
I particularly like that they switch the visual direction mid-video to what looks like an old school arcade game screen outfitted with everything from choppy motions to full UI. The attention to detail—like the familiar bounce when Jun is dropped on the ground—is impressive.
