Who's Who in Final Fantasy XIII-2

In case you were having trouble telling your pink-jaired girls from your purple-haired not-quite-girls, Square Enix has released a handy video pointing out which character is which in the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII sequel.

It's pretty easy to pick the characters out if you've been playing attention. Lightning is the one everyone cares about; Caius is the guy they created in an attempt to get a Cloud / Sephiroth vibe going; Noel is the Kingdom Hearts refugee; Serah has the stupid sideways ponytail; Hope is the girl in the blue tie; and Snow has the most amazing stealth mullet I've ever seen.

That clear everything up?

Bubbleman! Will buy a PS Vita for NHL 13 or Gundam Extreme VS, so make it reality!

So, since Final Fantasy XIII-3 is ABSOLUTELY HAPPENING (WATCH XIII-2'S INSANE ENDING), I guess that means we won't be seeing Versus XIII until 2014?

BTW, What I've played of XIII-2 has been terrible so far. The writing is actually worse than XIII's (at least in Japanese), and the fact that you can only use Serah and Noel in the entirety of the game sure is helping that.

I realized something last night. This series, and everything that made it special, isn't really with Square Enix anymore. All of the key players are gone who made FF 1-6 so great, and ever since then it's been a downhill slope.

How did I realize this? The fact that FFVI on PSN is more fun than FF XIII/XIII-2, despite the awful load times and sloppy port. That says alot.
