Metallica did. Bobby Kotick too. So did I and a ton of military dudes, all of who came out to play Call of Duty: Black Ops and... OK, they were really there to see Metallica. Did you go?
There wasn't much that was newsworthy at last night's Call of Duty: Black Ops launch party, outside of the million bucks the Call of Duty Endowment donated to veterans. But we already covered that. Sure, there was a giant novelty check—proof of that right here—but when I popped in and out, it seemed the draw was Metallica and a chance to play Black Ops a few days early.
And maybe Zach Braff.
