Battlefield 4 is scheduled to release on October 29th for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, followed by the next-gen consoles in November, but you can start the battle earlier by taking part in the open beta for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 4th.

You'll also get more input from me on what the maps for the beta are like, the game mode you'll be playing and some details on what it's like to play BF4 on the PS4.
