With six of ten of the most-played games this week from one development studio, perhaps I should call this new weekly feature “What Zynga Games Facebook is Playing This Week”.
Of course that wouldn’t be fair to the fine people at King.com, whose Bubble Witch Saga and Candy Crush Saga make a fair showing in the ‘Daily Active Users’ list at AppStats. Wooga’s Diamond Dash continues to cling to a spot, and the catchy name-that-tune style SongPop from Freshplanet is a game of songs that’s stuck in everyone’s heads.
The recently-released FarmVille 2 is way back in the 39 spot, but with the way I’ve been playing and sending out invites I’m betting it gets closer to the top ten next week.
