Sword Art Online was easily one of the most popular anime of 2012. And while the West never got the first game, Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment, on the PSP, it will be getting the updated version of the game, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, for the Vita later this year.

But how exactly does this game about being trapped inside a game work? Check out the video above to see it in action.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment was released in Japan on April 23, 2014, for the PlayStation Vita. It will be released in North America this summer.

This actually looks pretty good. I guess it really depends on how linear it is though.

I like the .Hack games, but I like how this (appears) to be a bit more open combat wise. I wasn't overly fond on the arena like scenario for battles in .Hack.

If I had a choice though, I'd want a Log Horizon game over a Sword Art Online game.
