If you played any video games in 2014, there's a good chance you came across Troy Baker. The guy is in everything. Last year, he even played against himself as both Batman and the Joker in a single Lego game. How does someone so multidextrous keep challenging themselves? By playing a piece of white bread, obviously.
The above video from GameSpot shows Troy Baker assuming the eponymous starring role in I Am Bread, an upcoming game from the studio that made the comically frustrating Surgeon Simulator that has you...play as a slice of bread. That's just the surface level elevator pitch, though. Developer Bossa Studios says that its new work tells a "beautiful story of one slice of bread's epic and emotional journey as it embarks upon a quest to become toasted."
Sounds pretty ambitious to me. So do you think that the man who already starred in Far Cry 4, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Shadow of Mordor, The Crew, Skylanders: Trap Team, Disney Infinity: Marvel Superheroes, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea, Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark, Infamous: Second Son, Diablo III: Reaper Of Souls, The Elder Scrolls Online, even Titanfall, and released an album this year is up for the task?
I can't say for sure yet, but now I sorta want a piece of bread.
