Earlier this month someone broke into Razer's San Francisco Bay Area research and development labs and made off with two prototypes for the peripheral maker's sexy gaming laptop hybrid, the Razer Blade, according to the company.
The break-in happened over the weekend of Nov. 4, according to a Facebook post by Razer.
"As you can imagine, the return of these prototype units is very important to the company," according to a Facebook post. "We have already reported this to the authorities who are working closely with us on this matter.
"We take this act of theft seriously and would like to appeal for its return and discourage anyone from buying the Razer Blade prototypes from the perpetrators, whether online or otherwise, as they are stolen property."
Anyone with information is being asked to to contact the company at cult@razerzone.com.
