If I wind up picking up a copy of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, it will be because of these two men right here. Well, mostly.

I'm a fan of Monolith Productions, despite some recent missteps, and I'm no stranger to the setting, so there's some pull there as well. But the main draw of the game for me is two of gaming's most prolific voice actors working closely together in an up-close motion capture performance setting, even if they do not kiss in this video.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor arrives September 30 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, November 16 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
