The Toshiba 50-inch C350 Series is a 4K UHD smart TV with Amazon Fire TV built in. The direct-lit LED panel uses Toshiba’s REGZA Engine 4K for picture processing, and downward-firing speakers on the bottom support Dolby Atmos, Dolby Audio, and DTS Virtual:X for sound. Every major streaming app comes preloaded on the Fire TV interface, and the included Voice Remote has Alexa built in for voice search across apps. A 50-inch screen fits a mid-sized living room, a bedroom, or a home office.

The Toshiba 50-inch C350 Series 4K Smart Fire TV is currently $200 on Amazon, down from its $350 list price for a 43% discount.

Picture quality is where Toshiba puts the biggest investment on the C350. The direct-lit LED panel delivers 4K resolution at 3840 x 2160, four times the pixel count of a Full HD screen. REGZA Engine 4K processes incoming signals for sharpness, contrast, and color, while the AI 4K Upscaler analyzes lower-resolution content and enhances it to near-4K quality. Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10, and HLG all decode natively, so streaming content plays back in whatever HDR format your service provides.

Sound comes from downward-firing speakers built into the bottom of the cabinet, powered by five audio processes at the same time. Dolby Atmos decodes streaming content with height channel information. DTS Virtual:X simulates surround sound from just two speakers. DTS-HD, Dolby Audio, and Dolby Digital Plus decode standard TV formats. Cheaper 50-inch TVs typically ship with just one basic audio format, so hearing five simultaneous audio processes on a $350 TV is unusual.

Fire TV is the operating system on the C350, and it’s the same software Amazon uses on its Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cube streaming devices. Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, Max, YouTube, Peacock, Apple TV+, and Sling TV come preinstalled. The Voice Remote also includes Alexa for hands-free search across all installed apps at once, so pressing the microphone button and saying “play The Bear” starts the show in Hulu without navigating through an on-screen keyboard.

The back of the TV has multiple HDMI ports, a USB port, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. An HDMI ARC port connects a soundbar for two-way audio and remote control through one cable. Apple AirPlay support also lets iPhones and Macs stream photos, videos, and music directly to the screen without any additional hardware. Bluetooth pairs wireless headphones directly to the TV for late-night viewing without a soundbar. Live TV Pause on a USB drive lets you pause and rewind live broadcasts.

Toshiba positions the C350 as the mid-tier option in its Fire TV lineup, above the entry-level V35 and below the flagship Mini LED options such as the Z670R. At $200, down from $350, the current sale takes 43% off the list price. The 50-inch screen puts this at the sweet spot for a mid-sized living room or a large bedroom. That’s a bigger screen than a 40-inch, but without the wall-filling footprint of a 75-inch panel.
