Silicon Knights, the creators of Xbox 360 game Too Human, says it still "intend[s] to finish the trilogy" despite meager sales, middling critical reception and a very long development cycle. Studio founder Denis Dyack tells Industry Gamers it has no further comment, noting "You know, there's very public litigation around that." We know!
I actually enjoyed this game thoroughly. I was so put off by reviews that I didn't pick it up until it hit the bargain bins, and I played it to death. The controls were different, but once you got used to them and quit trying to force the camera around, it was a lot of fun. I forget the name of the two camera modes I used, but one gave a very wide above shot, and the other automatically swept the camera around.
I think the only thing that makes me sad about the game is the lack of local multiplayer and how it went from four-player to two.
I'd also be glad to see a new Legacy of Kain game. Assuming they still have the rights. I haven't really followed that much. I spent many hours replaying Soul Reaver 1 and 2 over and over again.
