Last summer, a new art collective called "Rrrrrrrroll" started releasing GIFs. They were relatively simple GIFs: a woman spinning around. And when she's not spinning like a record, other things are spinning around her. The result is fascinating.

When Rrrrrrrroll first hit, the group of art friends started getting publicity on design and art websites. Like the floating pictures of photographer Natsumi Hayashi, there's something so refreshingly simple, brilliant, and visually engaging about Rrrrrrrroll's work.

Kotaku has been my daily source for years. I used to recommend it to gamers, but sadly I can't do that anymore. Why is that, Brian Ashcraft? Let me tell you: it's because instead of getting off your lazy ass and finding something... ANYTHING about games to post, you decide to just post bullshit about .gif files and surgical masks. How about getting back to what you (and Kotaku) used to be good at? GAMES. Seriously, take a sample and see - out of the last 10 Articles posted - 4 of them had something to do with gaming. Fail.
