"Sony can afford to lower the price of Vita."

Most people I know have been echoing this sentiment since the price was announced, but the nerds of the internets are quick to defend Sony with the typical, "It's a powerhouse of technology, so it's worth the price" bullshit. Although I'm excited for it, I really don't want to pay close to $300 (with the required memory card) just to enjoy a game, and the price is really a gimp leg to an otherwise healthy horse. Please make it worth it this time, Sony. The PSP was the greatest disappointment in all of my years as a gamer, and I could do without a repeat of that failure (IMO).
