The anime adaptation of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin in Japanese) debuted early this April, and it has a powerful opening. Users of the Japanese website Nico Nico Douga jumped on it immediately and made crazy awesome remixes.

Some of these mix the opening song (on top) with other anime intros or with other various videos. Some are just extremely funny.

Have a look

Attack on Miffy. Bunny rabbit and her firends become hardcore.

Spilled my coffee during this one, Attack on Snuggle.

Hell, it even makes the opening of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure more powerful.

King of the Hill is now Attack on the Hill.

Madoka opening, perfectly edited.

Pretty Cure is badass for the very first time.

And finally the weirdest edit doesn't even have anime, it's.. different.

This series is amazing. It's surprising that it wasn't that known outside of Japan for almost 4-5 years. It's likely the art and concept (No giant robots! Well, no giant "robots" and humanity is practically screwed up at the get go.) kept the people at bay or getting an interest for it. They even managed to add mystery and conspiracy to the story. Well, it's not uncommon that the popularity of the series will only begin after the animated version starts. Production IG did an amazing work with it.

The manga had the 70's - 80's feel to it as well. The days where mangakas: Go Nagai and Kazuo Umezu are dominant with their art and story telling especially in the Horror-Gore genre. Still, I expect a heavy censorship with the show. People should try it if they can get past the gore-filled, sadness enriched theme this series has. Especially those who keep ranting of all the cute and harem titles. I would try post a picture with humans being eaten left and right to prove my point but, this should do.
