This Saturday, folks in Japan lined up for Nintendo Switch pre-orders. While many were done online, some even braved the cold like these 50 souls waiting in Akihabara at 5am. A line that grew longer as the morning progressed.

Anyone in Japan can tell us what the Switch temperature is like over there? I feel like the hype definitely died down over here in the USA after the major presentation. I really have no idea if the motion gimmick still sells: it almost definitely doesn’t over here, but in contrast Japan straight up rejected the XB1, so I’m imagining the premise for it is very different.
