This is How Our Copy of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Begins

The mailman may have squashed our copy of the Wii's new Zelda game, but that doesn't appear to have impacted the quality of the game's intro. Fresh from Nintendo to our Wii here at Kotaku, behold the first few minutes of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (up until we get control of Link).

If you click though this gallery, you'll also see the non-gameplay storyline movie that plays the first time you put the game disc into the Wii along with some pics of our damaged delivery and the contents inside it.

The mailman crushed the box containing our copy of Zelda. Thank goodness for plastic DVD cases!

Say, Totilo, could you please let us know how many tracks— and/or what tracks— are on the soundtrack CD? I think there are enough out there that think it'll be about as unexciting as the Super Mario 25th Anniversary CD, and while I doubt that'll be the case, I sure hope that there'll be more than 2-3 ipod-worthy songs. I'd absolutely hate it if it was mostly just orchestrated sound effects.

Heck, maybe you or someone else at Kotaku could do a little review of the soundtrack. :)
