Yeah, I bet you’re knackered out! There are really are too many shows jumbled up together this time of year.
I wish Gamescom was in late August and then the Tokyo Game Show was in October. Having Gamescom this month and Tokyo Game Show in September seems like…bad planning!
And the feeling I get — this is totally unfounded — is that Japanese publishers are being forced to pick between which show they are going to show new stuff at: Gamescom or TGS.
And since the CESA (Japan’s version of the ESRB) puts on the Tokyo Game Show and since it’s a domestic show, I wonder if there is behind-the-scenes pressure to show new stuff at TGS.
