The Witcher 2 Can Now Run On Xbox One And Is Free Right Now

Got an Xbox One? Love The Witcher games? Well, you can now play the middle game in CD Projekt’s beloved action-RPG franchise for free.

UPDATE: This post has been updated to note that the free Witcher 2 download requires an Xbox Live Gold Account.

The news of gratis Geralt came as part of Microsoft’s latest backwards compabitility roster announcement. However, it’s only available to folks with Xbox Live Gold in select regions—U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, France and Germany—from January 21 through February 5.
