We likened it last fall to a “mystical sports RPG.” Unlike Supergiant Games’ previous focus on story and exploration, Pyre shifts the focus to arena style-showdowns. Which I’m looking forward to, personally. An esport you play by yourself is just what I’ve been waiting for.
