In this week's exciting episode of The Saturday Morning Stream, I play a challenging fantasy action-adventure game that just sort of showed up this week — Bound by Flame.
I love it when a game sneaks up on me. It hardly ever happens in my line of work. When it does, it generally means one of two things — either the game is so mediocre that marketing didn't bother, or I just wasn't paying attention. Seeing as we've written about Bound by Flame from developer Spiders (shivers) on several different occasions, I'm leaning towards the latter.
Bound by Flame is available for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4. Let's see how I fare in the PS4 version. Wish me luck.
Update: The stream is done! We learned a lot about Bound By Flame during our time with it, such as switching to easy mode makes for less dying, chest armor is uncomfortable and never trust scantily clad women tangled in weeds in the middle of the swamp. Watch the archive, and learn for yourself!
