The next MotorStorm won't take place in the Pacific Rim or during an apocalypse; instead it's a shrunken down version of the game, now starring remote controlled vehicles played on the PS Vita or as a Playstation Network download.
The best part? When you buy the PS3 version of the game you get "full access to the game on PS Vita (and vice versa)." That means if you own both you can shift between the platforms and maintain your progression. Which is pretty damn cool.
Evolution Studios' MotorStorm RC will feature 16 tracks from all four MotorStorm worlds and eight vehicle classes: Buggies, Superminis, Rally Cars, Muscle Cars, Racing Trucks, Supercars, Big Rigs and Monster Trucks.
It appears the game will support PS3, PS Vita cross-platform racing as well as local four-player, split-screen multiplayer on the PS3. The game hits the PS3 and Vita in the U.S. this spring.
