The Fire-Breathing Tanks of Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam

This look at the Vietnam-themed download expansion back for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 gives us a good look at the fight for hill 137 where GI recon have discovered NVA regulars defending an outpost.


Oh, it also shows us how amazing the fire looks in the game, in particular when it's spewing out of a tank.

I wish they'd actually throw this in the VIP packs and make it

worthwhile. As it is, remixing some old maps isn't exactly a great

thing—if they'd released the mod kits (like they said they would

ages ago), it might have taken modders, what, an hour or two to

make? Kinda feels like a rip-off.

At the very least, they could have released BC1 maps, seeing as how

those use the same assets.

One thing that's really frustrating to me about Bad Company is how

they repeatedly use the same buildings and assets from a very

limited library. There's one map with that one warehouse structure

on it repeated like five times, ffs.
