Just in case you were worried the country had lost its ability to sculpt amazing snow art, rest easy. It hasn't.
The 65th annual Sapporo Snow Festival recently went underway in Hokkaido, Japan. As in the past, there is a "Snow Miku," featuring the character Hatsune Miku. There's also a "Miku Dayoo" ("It's Miku") snow sculpture, which is just as freaky cute as one could hope.
Realize that local Sapporo residents created some of the smaller snow sculptures of various manga, anime, and video game sculptures. Impressive!
Miku dayoo~!
