For more than two and a half years we've been dealing with the same PlayStation Vita menu music. The last thing I wanted from the PlayStation TV was that same damn piece playing on my television set. Thanks to the recently-released Vita themes, I don't have to hear it anymore.
It seems like such a small thing, but when you play a system regularly over the course of a couple years, the tune that plays every time you're on the menu becomes part of the experience. Switching to one of the three new free themes — Four Seasons, Crystal or Stitching — is a transformative experience. The icons are different. The music is different. It feels new, certainly less tired.
If you've got an old Vita or a new PlayStation TV, hit up the PlayStation Store and snag all three of these. Now if they could just change the Store music...
