Planet of Lana
Wishfully Studios’ puzzle-platformer Planet of Lana is lovely to look at. Its hand-painted style feels evocative of a Studio Ghibli film, and it marries childlike whimsy with a frightening science-fiction invasion story. There’s also a little cat friend who follows you around, and if that doesn’t make even the most dire of circumstances feel a little more cozy, I don’t know what does. If you’ve ever wanted to play Limbo but less dreary, Planet of Lana might be up your alley.
