While there were rumours earlier this year that Brothers in Arms: Furious Four, the Inglorious Basterds-esque shooter from Gearbox, had been cancelled, turns out that’s not the case.

The game hasn’t been cancelled. It’s just “evolved”.

“The game has evolved, I think people are going to be surprised by what they’ll see, and it’s still evolving”, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford told CVG. “One of the reasons why we’re not talking about it now is that it’s evolving and we need to make further changes before we can start talking about it.”

Seeing as publisher Ubisoft’s let the trademarks on the old name slide, at the very least it sounds like it’s got a new name.
