The Day Note is a few minutes late this evening, thanks to a lovely little mix up with Fedex and my until recently broken laptop. Seems my address was too long for one line, so the helpful delivery man didn’t read my apartment as 15-11, but 15-1, even after I had verified it on the phone.
Luckily for me, my new neighbors are an honest couple, though I suppose it’s hard to be deceptive when a large, panting bald and bearded man in a dirty They Might Be Giants t-shirt and polar bear fleece pajama bottoms is staring you right in the face.
