Star Wars :The Old Republic launches today, and I wish I could play it (I only have Mac computers). Then again, I also enjoy seeing the outside world sometimes.

I finished Battlefield 3 last night, and I thoroughly enjoyed the campaign. I've seen a lot of reviews knock the single player campaign, but it reminded me a lot of COD4's campaign, but with more hope. I liked the fact that in the end, the Russians were depicted as good with some rogue faction responsible for the atrocities depicted. The ending also resonated with me, because there's no parade at the end of the day for guys like Dima and Blackburn. There's just the mission. And the hard choices they have to make to keep the rest of us safe. So, kudos to DICE for the story. The only qualm I had was the fighter plane stage. I still can't figure out why that was there in the first place.
