Nintendo will “greatly reduce the amount of Wii U systems produced and shipped” during the financial year ending March 2017, company president Tatsumi Kimishima recently said. “Taking into consideration demand for the new NX hardware and overall demand forecasts,” he added, “we plan to ship 800,000 units.”

Pokémon Snap is coming to the Wii U Virtual Console in Japan. Priced at 1,028 yen (US$9.17), it’ll be out in the region on April 4. No word yet about an international release.

On March 31, Nintendo is launching a new webshop for their downloadable games over at Nintendo.com. The store, accessible to Nintendo Account holders on both mobile and PC, will display current sales and let you search the catalogue by genre, popularity, or release date, with purchases sent directly to your console.
