Developer Warhorse Studios published an explanation clarifying the patching process for Kingdom Come: Deliverance across all three platforms today. The Xbox One version is currently one update behind both PC and PS4, with a hotfix to resolve issues with the R2 button on PS4 currently going through certification.
The last time I played Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s beta, things were looking a little rough. So it’s little surprise to hear that the game has been delayed. Originally due in 2015 before slipping to 2016, it’s now been pushed back to 2017.
Realistic/historical RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance discusses its first-person melee combat in its most recent video, also talking about the “thousands of hours” of research that went into developing it.
