One year after its initial release, The Outer Worlds is finally on Steam. Obsidian Entertainment’s “class struggle simulator” will be 50% off—or 37% off if you bundle it with the expansion pass—through November 6.

Here’s the opening 22 minutes of The Outer Worlds on Switch running in handheld mode. It’s...not pretty. While the game plays mostly fine, the vibrant visuals of the original have been lost in a blurry haze of down-scaling.

Obsidian’s sci-fi role-playing game The Outer Worlds will finally come to Switch on June 5. The port was originally slated to arrive back on March 6 but was delayed due to shutdowns in China over the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus. The game will have a 6GB day-one patch. 

The Outer Worlds is coming to Switch on March 6. The sci-fi shooter RPG came to PS4, Xbox One, and PC last year. While the game will have a retail version, the box will only come with a download code inside. It’s not the best choice, it’s Spacers Choice.
