Day one of my first trip to Toy Fair came and went far too quickly. Between bitter cold temperatures and a series of scheduled appointments I didn’t get much time to wander the floor, but when I did I found pretty things at every turn.
Copying scenes from movies, and putting their 8-bit replicas into their licensed video games was a bit of thing back in the NES era. NYC-based artist Brother Brain started a series where he compares these particular scenes using animated GIFs.
Filmmaker John Hughes passed away yesterday and sadly there wasn't much of a way to acknowledge it with video games. Until today, that is.
