The space fascists of New Monarchy have won Destiny 2's second faction rally. Wouldn’t have been my first choice, but hey, at least Dead Orbit didn’t win. Time to go buy the New Monarchy sword and then never really use it.

Bungie says it has fixed Destiny 2's infamous “Bureaucratic Walk” emote, which was allowing players to glitch through walls to access parts of the game that they shouldn’t have been able to access. A hotfix released today patched that bug and made some tweaks to Faction Rallies and Crucible scores, among other things.

Destiny 2's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, will be out December 5, Activision said today at the Sony press conference. It’ll be set on Mercury, but of course, you already knew that.

Bungie is delaying Destiny 2's “prestige” raid difficulty to next week. That’s due to an exploit that “causes the encounters to be stripped of their intended challenge,” which is almost certainly a reference to the despawning trick that made the rounds last week. The Iron Banner will make its Destiny 2 debut next Tuesday, along with the “prestige” version of the raid. Iron Banner won’t take power levels into account and will reward tokens for Iron Banner engrams. The prestige raid will be at power level 300 with “minimal” mechanical changes. More info here.
