Yet they have an in-universe combo weapon in FF14: the Gunblade! I wonder what a combination MCH/Paladin would be. Or would it be combo MCH/DRK, or would it be a MCH/RDM? Guess it would depend on which type of sword is used.

Come to think of it, the Imperials added guns to a lot of weapons. That one boss had a Gunshield, and another used a Gunlance.
