In celebration of the holidays and the impending release of the 3D Nintendo DS Final Fantasy IV remake on iOS. Square Enix has lined up a slew of iOS game sales, starting with slashed prices on those excellent-but-pricey mobile FF games.
It's hard to resist a mobile Final Fantasy game, but those that managed to stay the course are rewarded this week with Final Fantasy I and II for $3.99 apiece (normally $8.99), the regularly $15.99 Final Fantasy III for $8.99 ($16.99 to $9.99 on the iPad), and $12 off the full Final Fantasy Dimensions, dropping it to a mere $16.99.
The FF sale runs through December 14. Between December 12 and January 7, Lara Croft and the couple of games you probably don't care about are reduced to $.99 from $2.99, and American Mensa Academy goes on sale for $1.99 starting December 17.
No sale for Android gamers, but they can look forward to the impending release of Final Fantasy Dimensions, Demon's Score and Wizardlings, so that's something.
Check out the full sale details below. Hopefully those slashed FF prices will help make up for whatever ridiculous price tag is affixed to Final Fantasy IV.
