......but the company sees a big impact next year. When does Final Fantasy XIII come out again? Oh right, this winter.

According to Square Enix honcho Yoichi Wada, the cheaper US$299 PS3 will spur game sales, but not enough for the company to revise this year's financial forecast.

"In terms of the impact (the PS3 cut) will have on this financial year's earnings, I don't think there will be a major difference," explained Wada. "But I expect there to be a big impact from next year."

Next year being when Final Fantasy XIII is released exclusively on the PS3 in Japan?

C'mon SE, get your head out of your ass, you've totally SUCKED this gen currently, saved for your portable games....your current gen games are jokes.

It's clear that the price drop might have an influence on game sales, all you need to do is bundle XIII on the slim, it would sell like crack on pancakes with dancing strippers.

Now, think about that and add VII remake and KH3 bundle. The world would explode, in fact SE, I'll forgive you for your dickery this gen if you made that happen.

Right now SE, since neither has happen yet, then keep your mouth shut...count your DQIX money and wait.
