Since the internet seems to be getting overthe reveal of Kylo Ren’s weird, three-bladed lightsaber from the Force Awakens trailer, perhaps now is a good time for people to show off that they’ve gone and replicated the thing in real life.

Prop maker Makoto Tsai has fashioned this pretty decent remake of the “claymore” lightsaber, modifying an existing replica to get the crossguard effect just right. Note that this isn’t just a 3D print like we sawa few weeks back, as you can see, this one actually “works”.
