We'll have more on Halo 4's campaign mode later in the day, but for now, here's a collection of screenshots from the game, some in first-person, others not, all of them looking very purple.

Good to see 343 have at least stayed faithful to that particular aspect of the Bungie legacy.

I don't like how Kotaku is posting "Halo 4" stuff as if its just another normal Halo sequel. I mean I'm sure that in-the-know gamers such as many of those who frequent this site know all about this game's development (specifically that it isn't Bungie-made) but the casual observer might make the mistake of just assuming the quality of this game will be up to par with previous Halos. That's something you can't do yet. Any time a beloved franchise is handed to a completely different set of people, you should be very skeptical. Look at Treyarch's first couple of CoD games. Look at MW3, made by the scraps that were left of IW and also a totally new studio. These games were not good.
