On PC, mods are the lifeblood of games like Skyrim and Fallout. Console owners eventually got mods too, but it’s not the same: the PS4 version of the game is severely limited by small file sizes and the inability to use external file assets. The joy of watching Thomas the Tank Engine careen across the sky might never grace Sony consoles. Even so, mod creators on the PS4 are still finding ways to make some pretty cool shit, as you’ll see in this video.

DISCUSSION
I have tried mods in both Skyrim and Fo4 on PS4, but did not find ones I particularly liked, as some of them, such as the ones featured in the video, add too much clutter. For example, having 72 different arrows in the smithing menu is too much. I did like the unlocked settlement and armor mods in F04, but as they don’t significantly change the game, I still prefer to play vanilla.
