Getting handmade gifts for Christmas was a real drag as a child, but now that we're older we can appreciate the work that goes into creating a custom Sonic the Hedgehog Sackboy. Can you do-it-yourself?

Pig Corner's GoldenJellyBean gives us all of the tools we need to craft our own Sonic plushie out of nothing more than yarn and a whole lot of hard work. Not only does she show us how it's done in this video, she also goes the extra mile and gives us a full pattern to work off of, something that many yarn artists often hesitate to do, for fear of their livelihoods.

Now all I need to do is learn how to knit, and I'm set for Christmas presents!
