Ubisoft's upcoming downlodable side-scroller Shoot Many Robots is another game in what's becoming a trend towards clear video game names (e.g. Kill All Orcs, Destory All Humans!). And as you'd expect, the game revolves around running around and shooting many robots, and doing so with a lovely cel-shaded art style. (Of course, much of its charm lies in the many various ways that there are to shoot the robots, some of which are evidenced in the above screenshots.)

Looking at these makes me want to finally go watch Real Steel.

Oh no wait, nothing on earth could make me want to do that, ever.

DISCUSSION

While we're on the topic of straight forward game names, I found a game on Steam called "Gratuitous Space Battles". The description was equally hilarious:

Who needs backstory? Who needs resource-gathering? Diplomacy is so last year. Gratuitous Space Battles cuts right to the chase of sci-fi strategy games, and deals with large, completely unjustified space battles between huge opposing space fleets.

Look it up, it's a real game.
