A guy threw a shoe at former US President George W. Bush. The internet enjoyed it. Yet while countless flash games turned up lampooning the affair, you won't find the same thing on the iPhone.
Why? Because Apple won't allow it. The Pakistani developer behind MyShoe, a shoe-thrower with accelerometer support, have been told by Apple "We cannot post this version of your iPhone application to the App Store because it contains content that ridicules public figures".
Understandably - given the fact there is actually plenty of satirical political material on the App Store - the developer is a little upset: "I feel this is huge discrimination against public opinion, as major portion of world rejects bush polices on Iraq and attacks on Pakistan."
