Showtime's newest television series, United States of Tara, seems achingly desperate to court controversy. Maybe that's why this Saints Row 2 cameo feels so inappropriate and out of place.
In this clip from a recent episode, in which the son and daughter of the titular Tara—a woman with dissociative identity disorder resulting in four distinct personalities—wax on relationships, Volition's Saints Row 2 is being played as set dressing.
Why? Good question. Maybe it's just curious product placement. Or perhaps the line "Mug the prostitute, it's really funny!" just seemed out of place without it. Formulate your own fun theories after watching the clip!
