Ryu And Chun-Li Versus Kazuya And Nina

You drooled over the news that Capcom and Namco Bandai had teamed up for Street Fighter X Tekken this weekend, now listen to the cheers of fans as they watch the game's first battle unfold.

It's videos like this that make me wish I was with McWhertor at the San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, basking in the warm glow of a couple hundred Street Fighter fans watching their favorite characters square off against some of the best Tekken has to offer. The action is spectacular, of course, but it's the cheering that gets me; that strong feeling of community that you can only get at immense fan gatherings.

Maybe next year!

Edit: Oops. Headline had Ken it it, because he's the better fighter.

I'm fine with Street Fighter 4's art style and all, but this is just recycling. I've already bought the game twice. Half the stages and characters in this game are recycled property - so they're only developing half a game - and I'm sure the Tekken folks are retaining Tekken 6's art style as well, just modeling half a roster of 3-D-looking Street Fighters and SF stages. What a great deal for the devs, though - make half a game each, profit.
