Truly terrible arcade-inspired album Pac-Man Fever is coming to Rock Band Network next year, letting Rock Band owners relive the 1982 Buckner & Garcia classic from the comfort of their plastic instruments.

IGN reports that Ozone Entertainment, which is carving out a niche in offering musical curiosities via Rock Band Network, will bring Bucker & Garcia penned tunes "Do the Donkey Kong" and "Froggy's Lament" to the Rock Band masses in 2011. Pro drums and keyboards, features of Rock Band 3, are said to be implemented in the Pac-Man Fever album release.

If things go as planned, Xbox 360 owners will be afflicted with Pac-Man Fever first, with PlayStation 3 and Wii owners expected to eventually suffer the same fate.
