Radiohead guitarists—they're just like us! They enjoy a good game of Ico, Cave Story and sometimes "marvel" at Red Dead Redemption. If you've ever wondered about the game playing habits of Radiohead, get ready to satisfy your curiosity.
Jonny Greenwood, the other guy from Radiohead that you know who isn't Thom Yorke, trots out his (or is it the band's?) choice in video games on the group's official web site. Radiohead's latest Office Chart, normally reserved for of the moment musical selections, is inspired by Red Dead Redemption. What games make Radiohead's list? These!
- Braid (various)
- Marathon (Mac)
- Goldeneye (N64)
- Elite (BBC Micro)
- Cave Story (various)
- Ico (PS2)
- Red Dead Redemption (PS3)
- Zelda Ocarina of Time (N64)
- Zelda Twilight Princess (Wii)
- Half Life 1 and 2 (Mac, PS3)
"Having written that, I think Ico might be the best one," Jonny specifies. "Now back to Bonnie's ranch...." While I find it hard to argue with the inclusions in that list, I'd still like to imagine a heated Radiohead debate on which Advance Wars game to include, with Thom overruling everyone with his demands that Elite make an appearance.
Office Chart for a week off... [Radiohead.com - thanks, Jordan!]
